The new structure of the Presidential Administration has been approved

 

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed a Decree “On measures to increase efficiency, proactivity, and effectiveness in the public administration system”.

 

According to this Decree, the new structure of the Presidential Administration has been approved. As a result, 284 staff positions within the Administration and its subordinate organizations have been cut, and overlapping roles have been optimized.

 

Based on the Decree, five priority areas have now been identified in the activities of the Presidential Administration: education, business, the judicial and legal system, healthcare, and water resources. To ensure effective implementation of reforms in these areas, five deputy positions have been introduced under the Head of the Presidential Administration.

 

In addition, new advisor positions to the President on strategic development and foreign policy have been established. Departments have also been created for financial technologies, digitalization and artificial intelligence, creative economy and tourism development, public safety and the rule of law, event organization, analytical content preparation for meetings and regional visits, as well as communications.
