A Kuwaiti collector will take part in the international exhibition to be held in Uzbekistan
Representatives of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, together with officials from Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Kuwait, visited the home of the renowned Kuwaiti collector Dr. Mahmoud Al-Nouri.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the Center of Islamic Civilization being built on the initiative of the President, its main goals and objectives, as well as the international global exhibition planned to be held as part of the Center’s opening. A special video about the Center’s activities was also shown. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Nouri was invited to the official opening ceremonies of both the Center of Islamic Civilization and the Imam Bukhari Complex.
The collector highly praised the reforms being carried out in our country to preserve Islamic culture and spiritual heritage and pass them on to future generations. Expressing his support for the large-scale reforms being implemented under the leadership of our President, he agreed to participate in the international exhibition with his unique exhibits a gold-illuminated Qur’an from the Mughal era, a Qur’an from the Mamluk period, as well as gold coins from the Seljuk, Qarakhanid, and Ghaznavid periods, purchased at a Sotheby’s auction in 1989.
