Work continues on the preparation of magnificent paintings

The construction of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, a megaproject initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has now reached its final stage.

Along with the completion of the Center's construction, discussions are actively continuing to enrich it with content that embodies the past, present, and future, and to provide a spiritually rich exposition in every aspect. The main goal is to ensure that the projects selected for the Center's exposition are rich in content and popular, to instill a sense of national pride in everyone who visits it, especially in young people.

This goal also became a priority in the discussions held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan regarding the majestic paintings being prepared for the Center's entrance foyer. The Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Khayriddin Sultanov, also participated in the event and presented proposals for the magnificent paintings being prepared for the entrance foyer.

The presented magnificent paintings reflect the achievements, great discoveries, and architectural monuments of the First and Second Renaissance. Also discussed were the changes made to the photos in the arches of the foyer based on the recommendations given during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Center on January 29, 2025.

"The paintings on these arches should be not only unique examples of fine art, but also important historical and artistic works reflecting the centuries-old history of our people, the incomparable contribution of our ancestors to world civilization," said Khayriddin Sultanov.

It was also emphasized that it is necessary to pay special attention to the contribution of historical figures to the scientific and cultural development not only of our country, but also of the world. Therefore, the head of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, announced that the monumental paintings being prepared for the center's entrance foyer plan to reflect the figures of major scholars from the First Renaissance period to the 20th century.

Currently, portraits of such great personalities as Imam Bukhari, Imam Tirmidhi, Abu Ali ibn Sina, Abu Rayhan Beruni, Bahauddin Naqshband, Jalaluddin Manguberdi, Amir Temur, Mirzo Ulugbek, Alisher Navoi, and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur are being prepared.
