A new cultural cooperation has been established between Uzbekistan and Oman
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov, met with Al-Yaqzan bin Abdullah Al-Harithi, Director of the “Across the Ages Museum” in Oman.
This was reported by the “Dunyo” Information Agency.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries, the study of historical and educational heritage, as well as the implementation of joint projects in this area.
Ambassador Abdusalom Khatamov spoke about the activities and the founding idea of the Center of Islamic Civilization being established in Uzbekistan on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
At the conclusion of the talks, the parties agreed to establish cooperation between the “Across the Ages Museum” and the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that the “Across the Ages Museum” is one of the largest educational complexes in Oman, founded on the initiative of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said. Through modern technologies, the museum provides in-depth information about the country’s historical development and statehood.
