Within the framework of the “Enlightenment Caravan” project, large-scale scientific and educational events are being held in the Samarkand region
Within the framework of the “Enlightenment Caravan” project initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a series of high-level scientific, educational, cultural, and spiritual events are being held across the cities and districts of the Samarkand region.
During the current week, Samarkand State University hosted the “Forum of Social Ideas” and a meeting titled “Scholars and Youth” as part of the project. These events brought together representatives of higher education institutions, young researchers, master’s students, graduating students, and active youth. Participants presented their startup ideas, while field specialists offered recommendations on scientific research. Young attendees had the opportunity to receive detailed answers to their questions of interest.
Additionally, within the framework of awareness-raising events under the theme “Civilization, Culture, and Enlightenment”, the “Living History” project was implemented at a military unit in the city of Samarkand. As part of the project, creative meetings were organized with renowned artists and beloved film creators. The open dialogue event held with military personnel left a strong impression on the participants.
The “Enlightenment Caravan” activities are also actively continuing across the districts of the Samarkand region. At the “Jeans Textile” LLC enterprise located in Oqdaryo district, a seminar-training was held as part of the “One Purpose” project with the participation of enterprise and organization leaders as well as responsible staff from educational institutions. Workers and service personnel also took part in the event, gaining positive motivation regarding their outlook on life and their personal goals.
A seminar-training dedicated to the essence and significance of the Center of Islamic Civilization being established in Uzbekistan was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, and Biotechnology. The event provided detailed information about the historical, cultural, and educational importance of the Center.
Additionally, an informal meeting between outreach specialists and youth took place at the Alisher Navoi Recreation Park in Samarkand. During the gathering, young participants received comprehensive information about the ongoing reforms in the country. They were also given recommendations on actively participating in the “Young Reader” and “Young Reader Family” competitions.
