A joint meeting was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan
Today, a joint meeting was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan with the participation of the members of the Expanded Academic Council, the Working Group and sub-working groups established to organize the museum exhibition and library collection, as well as to ensure the high-level organization of the Center’s opening ceremony.
The following key issues were thoroughly discussed during the meeting:
I. Activities related to the Global Exhibition:
Discussions were held on the exhibits to be presented, their historical and spiritual significance, placement, and modern exhibition solutions. Opinions were also exchanged regarding the use of interactive and multimedia technologies in the exhibition.
II. Matters concerning the official opening ceremony of the Center:
Specific tasks were outlined concerning the high-level opening event scenario, the composition of visiting guests, protocol arrangements, and media coverage.
III. Scientific and innovative projects:
Scientific research activities within the Center, digitization efforts, platforms for young scholars, as well as directions for international academic cooperation were reviewed.
IV. Publication projects:
Information was provided about books, albums, and collections of academic articles being prepared to promote the Center’s scientific and educational activities.
V. Cooperation with local media:
Tasks were outlined to strengthen collaboration with media outlets, raise public awareness about the Center’s activities, and prepare media content in a systematic manner.
VI. Multimedia projects:
Concepts for documentary films, 3D exhibitions, virtual tours, and interactive projects were discussed. Through these, modern approaches were defined for presenting the Center to a wider audience.
Participants of the joint meeting shared their suggestions and recommendations for organizing the Center’s activities in accordance with international standards and the latest achievements in science.
At the end of the meeting, specific plans and deadlines were set for the implementation of the defined tasks.
