Jewelry belonging to the Emir of Bukhara has been found in Kuwait

During the visit, organized with the practical assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait, the delegation was met by the Director of the Museum, Ziyad Rajab.

The Tariq Rajab Museum, located in the capital of Kuwait, al-Kuwait, contains a private collection of more than 30,000 ancient and modern items. The museum was founded by Kuwaiti businessman Tariq Sayyid Rajab. The institution began its activities in 1980. It contains a personal collection formed over many years and is known as the Tariq Rajab Museum.

During the meeting with Ziyad Rajab, a video about the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was shown. He emphasized that a nation with great ancestors has a great future and highly appreciated the work of our esteemed leader on preserving the cultural and educational heritage of the Islamic world and passing it on to future generations.

Members of the delegation announced plans to attract about 50 world collections to the exposition, which is expected to be organized at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. It was noted that this event will be the first major exposition in the history of world museology, uniting dozens of museums around the heritage of one country.

Ziyad Rajab spoke about the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, Tariq Rajab and the museums of Islamic calligraphy of the same name:

- The Center of Islamic Civilization being built under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan made a great impression on me. We are pleased to cooperate with you in the future. The exhibition of the exhibits of the Tariq Rajab Museum in your country is a historical event. The museum houses valuable exhibits related to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, including copies of Abu Ali ibn Sina's "Canon of Medicine" copied in the 14th century, jewelry belonging to the Emir of Bukhara and his relatives, miniatures from the Shaybanid period, and many other exhibits.

In the museum's exposition, one can find unique examples of calligraphy and masterpieces of high art belonging to different periods and geography of the Islamic world.

Our museum also houses jewelry, ancient clothing, weapons, handicrafts, fabrics, and glassware brought from Bukhara. My mother mainly collected jewelry, while my father was responsible for ceramics and metal items. Since my parents are interested in the territory and history of Uzbekistan, many artifacts from this place can be found in the museum.

At the end of the meeting, a facsimile copy of the Katta Langar Quran and a copy of a letter with the seal of Muhammad (peace be upon him) on a papyrus by calligrapher Habibullo Solih were also presented to museum director Ziyad Rajab.
