Implementation of projects and the international forum under discussion

At the special headquarters of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the practical implementation of scientific and innovative projects developed to enrich the exhibition was once again reviewed. As the reporting period approaches, discussions and assessments at the headquarters have intensified.

At the latest meeting of the working group on forming the exhibition, scientific staff of the center, museum specialists, artists, designers, multimedia experts, and representatives from other fields participated.

The meeting discussed the initial results of work carried out on the first-tier stage of the exhibition, including rare manuscripts, archaeological artifacts, and original works. In addition, scientific-methodological and design requirements were established for second-tier exhibits, including replicas, models, 3D technologies, audiovisual equipment, and other modern display tools.

According to Gulnora Ganieva, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Center, the goal of creating this exhibition based on scientific and innovative projects is not only to accurately reflect historical truth but also to utilize modern, engaging, and impactful methods for the younger generation.

“The great achievements of Islamic civilization in science, culture, and enlightenment will be presented in a way that each visitor can deeply feel them step by step”, said Gulnora Ganieva.

The discussion also included plans for the international forum scheduled to be held in conjunction with the official opening of the Center. Preliminary plans were discussed regarding the forum’s themes, participant composition, scientific panel sessions, and practical activities.

The forum is expected to share the contributions of Islamic civilization to global science with the international academic community and to further highlight Uzbekistan’s scientific potential in this area.
