Spiritual Awakening in New Uzbekistan: Dialogue Between Scholars and Students

At Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni, a scientific and educational forum titled “New Uzbekistan – The Foundation of a New Renaissance” was held within the framework of the “Caravan of Enlightenment” outreach program dedicated to the theme “Civilization, Culture, and Knowledge”. The event was attended by members of the “Caravan of Enlightenment” group, professors and teachers of Urgench State University, students, as well as professors from several higher education institutions in the region.

The forum began with the screening of a video about the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Following that, discussions were held on the spiritual and cultural renewal processes in New Uzbekistan, the current phase of the New Renaissance, and the significance of such scientific and educational gatherings.

The forum was moderated by literary scholar, professor, and founder of the Academy of Oratory Art, Rahimboy Jumaniyozov. During the event, scholars such as Doctor of Political Sciences Professor Nazrulla Juraev, Doctor of Historical Sciences Professor Shukrulla Umarov, and Senior Researcher at the Center of Islamic Civilization Abdurasul Yakhshibayev delivered lectures on the essence of the reforms and developmental efforts being implemented in New Uzbekistan, as well as on the ongoing initiatives and key priorities in the spiritual and educational spheres of the country.
