Uzbekistan is participating in an international forum
The 16th International Economic Forum — “Russia–Islamic World: KazanForum” — is currently taking place in the city of Kazan.
This prestigious forum is organized to strengthen economic, cultural, and scientific cooperation among the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and serves as a unique international platform for dialogue.
Within the framework of the forum, conferences, presentations, roundtable discussions, and business meetings are being held on topics related to various fields, including economy, trade, investment, education, science, culture, tourism, and mass media.
Gulnora Ganiyeva, a representative of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, is participating in the forum with a presentation. She provided insights into the scientific study of Islamic heritage, the development of cultural dialogue, the role of Islamic civilization in world history and contemporary progress, as well as Uzbekistan’s involvement in international projects in this sphere. Additionally, she engaged in discussions with international experts and explored opportunities to establish new partnerships.
Participants acknowledged Uzbekistan’s dedicated attention to Islamic heritage and scientific development, particularly highlighting the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization, the Imam Bukhari International Research Center, the Islamic Academy, and other institutions.
“Russia–Islamic World: KazanForum” is serving not only as an economic platform but also as a vital venue for strengthening spiritual and cultural ties, fostering mutual understanding, and promoting peace with the Islamic world. The forum will continue until May 17.
