Issues related to the preparation and implementation of technical assignments were discussed at the Center of Islamic Civilization
The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, being constructed in our capital at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is being established as a shining symbol of our nation’s rich historical heritage, vast scientific potential, and profound spiritual values.
The process of forming the exhibitions at the Center, which is scheduled to open in September, is progressing rapidly. In particular, a recent meeting involving members of the working group focused on the preparation of initial technical assignments and their practical implementation.
The meeting placed particular emphasis on the technical assignments prepared for the sections dedicated to pre-Islamic civilizations and the Second Renaissance period. Experts shared their views and insights on developing exhibits and content that reflect the invaluable heritage of these historical eras. Additionally, there was active discussion on implementing the technical assignments developed within the framework of scientific and innovative projects aimed at shaping the Center’s content—specifically, transforming them into modern, engaging presentation formats.
It is worth noting that more than 2,000 prominent scholars, historians, art experts, archivists, and theologians have been involved in enriching the museum collection and content of the Center. Over 800 scientific and innovative projects have been developed, which will serve as the foundation for implementing models, wall texts, and modern interactive solutions in the exhibitions. Currently, specialists are actively working on the implementation of over 400 projects in the first phase. In this regard, more than 200 contracts have been signed with researchers and experts.
