The exhibition “The Era of the Second Renaissance” is being enhanced based on the legacy of the Timurids.
At the State Museum of Timurid History, projects related to the Timurid section of the "Second Renaissance Era" exhibition at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan were reviewed. Several important proposals were put forward to ensure historical accuracy and scientific consistency.
Project members emphasized the need to divide the exhibition into clear stages, revise the internal classification of categories, and include additions that fully reflect the spirit of the era. Particular attention was given to more accurately portraying the flourishing of science, literature, and the arts during the Timurid period.
Discussions also focused on the fair and accurate representation of the contributions made by scholars and poets who worked under various Timurid rulers, as well as identifying the key figures of the era.
As a result of the meeting, the exhibition is planned to be further enriched, scientifically grounded, and made more accessible to the general public. Through this, the concept of the "Second Renaissance" will be revealed in greater depth through the lens of the Timurid heritage.
