Another initiative at the Center of Islamic Civilization: A catalog of works belonging to the muhaddiths of Maverannahr will be created

At the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, it is planned to implement another important project aimed at a deep study of the scientific heritage of the great muhaddiths who emerged from the land of Maverannahr. Based on this project, historical sources, library collections, and invaluable manuscripts stored in museums and archives will be analyzed, and a catalog will be prepared.

This catalog systematically compiles the written heritage of Imam Bukhari, Imam Tirmidhi, Imam Darimi, Burhaniddin Marginani, and other scholars of Mawarannahr, highlighting their place and significance in the science of hadith.

The cataloged information is prepared in an interactive format using modern information technologies and presented to the general public through the exposition of the Center of Islamic Civilization. Visitors will be able to learn about these unique manuscripts through electronic screens, see their digital copies, and get closely acquainted with the lives of scholars.

The project will be an important step towards ensuring the use of the scientific heritage of Maverannahr as a source for scientific research on a global scale, as well as the wide promotion of Islamic values.
