New Discoveries on Mirzo Ulugbek's Scientific Heritage: Focus on Astronomical Instruments

 

Representatives of the Mirzo Ulugbek Astronomical Academy laid the foundations of geometric precision, which became an important milestone in the development of astronomy and mathematics. The scientific and educational legacy of Mirzo Ulugbek  has attracted the attention of many scholars and researchers over the centuries. Currently, members of the Working Group created under the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan are actively studying his legacy, with special focus on aspects of his work that remain little known to the general public.

 

Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Bakhtiyor Turaev reported that the representatives of the Mirzo Ulugbek Astronomical Academy were pioneers in the field of geometric precision, establishing scientific foundations that were later used for further achievements in astronomy and mathematics. The professor also spoke about a scientific-innovative media project dedicated to Ulugbek's astronomical instruments and shared information about current research aimed at restoring and popularizing these scientific achievements.
