More than 100 exhibits will be transferred from Iran for the exhibition of the Center of Islamic Civilization.

The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is actively strengthening its international relations, with its cooperation with Iran serving as a vivid example. Currently, efforts are underway to bring artifacts related to the culture and history of Uzbekistan from Iranian libraries and museums to enrich the Center’s exhibitions.

On April 28, as part of the media project "The Scientific, Literary, and Cultural Heritage of Women of the Timurid and Baburid Eras," a video dialogue was held via ZOOM with the Iranian Timurid scholar Amir Temur Rafaei.

During the conversation, important sources related to the history and culture of Uzbekistan that are preserved in Iran were discussed. The scholar announced that, on his initiative and within the framework of the project, more than 100 artifacts will be transferred to the Center.

It is worth to remember, according to the directive of the Head of State, the mega project of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan aims to present the significant contribution of the ancestors to world civilization, foster a spirit of respect among the youth for the great historical heritage, and create conditions for scientific discussions, debates, the advancement of contemporary ideas and discoveries, the development of new academic content, and the continuous enrichment of the Center’s exhibitions.

In total, over 800 projects have been developed, scheduled for implementation in three phases. Currently, the first phase has commenced, during which over 400 projects are being carried out in collaboration with members of the Scientific Council.

At present, intensive work is underway at the Special Headquarters of the Center on scientific and innovative media projects. Dozens of agreements are being signed daily, and both international and local meetings are being held within the framework of these projects.
