A catalog of 1,000 exhibits has been compiled

The working group of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan has created a catalog of 1,000 exhibits. The number is planned to be increased to 2,000. This was announced at the recent meeting of the Expanded Scientific Council.

Work on the museum organization of the exhibition, the collection of rare artifacts, and the creation of their replicas is being carried out in stages. It has been emphasized that the exhibits will not simply be placed in the center. Special display cases will be made for them according to international standards. Currently, work is underway to order these display cases. To do this, it is necessary to first determine the number of exhibits. With the help of the working group created by the Center, a catalog of 1,000 exhibits has been compiled.

— When selecting display cases, special attention is given to their convenience for storing, displaying, and moving the exhibits. The display cases are planned to be manufactured by well-known companies that provide equipment for prestigious foreign museums. Local scholars have expressed various opinions about the shape and color of the display cases. "We will summarize all opinions and select the most suitable option for our exhibition," said Alisher Egamov, the chief researcher at the Center of Islamic Civilization.
