The library of the Center of Islamic Civilization will also offer services to international guests

A meeting was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan focused on the organization of the Center’s library and the implementation of scientific and innovative media projects. The event brought together industry representatives and key staff members of the Center involved in the development and execution of these initiatives.

At the meeting, Gulnora Ganieva, Head of the Research Department at the Center of Islamic Civilization, presented the system for classifying scientific and innovative media projects and the procedures for their official documentation:

— “The library department is the face of the Center. That is why we are on the threshold of an important and responsible task. The Center will become a true institution of enlightenment and a place that bridges the past and the present. Industry representatives play a significant role in this process by actively contributing through the realization of their projects,” she emphasized.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the library of the Center of Islamic Civilization will meet international standards in both interior design and quality of service. To ensure maximum convenience for readers, consultations are currently being held with international experts. At present, the library department is working on 26 scientific and innovative projects, with 15 of them being implemented in the initial phase.

The library will be equipped with an electronic system capable of serving up to 226 readers simultaneously and will house a collection of approximately 125,000 books. Plans also include the development of a specialized bibliographic studies course. The library’s collection will feature Braille books and audiobooks, ensuring accessibility for all visitors.

The library is envisioned not only as a modern and comprehensive institution, but also as a facility that will provide services to international guests.\\\
