A unique work of art dedicated to Amir Timur is planned to be created

An artwork titled "Amir Timur — The Enlightened Ruler" will be featured in the exhibition at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. In this piece, Amir Timur will be depicted as a patron of science and education, seated in an elevated position, displaying an expression of attentiveness and care, engaged in conversation with scholars — Saaduddin Taftazani, Ibn Khaldun, and Hafiz Sherazi. This image will be part of the exhibition dedicated to the “Second Renaissance.”

The artwork will also reflect the achievements in science, philosophy, architecture, and culture during the era of Timur. Historical figures such as the famous Azerbaijani musician Abdulkadir Maroghi, historians Nizamiddin Shomi and Ibn Arabshoh, as well as diplomats, including Rui Gonzalez Clavijo, will be featured in the painting.

Additionally, a scene will depict the grandsons of Bibi Khanum, Boysunkur and Ulugbek, reading a book.

Through this artwork, the enlightened side of Amir Timur’s personality will be highlighted.
