“Here, we truly felt history” — impressions of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus

During their first visit to Tashkent, senior officials of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Belarus became acquainted with the museum exhibitions of the Islamic Civilization Center, established on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and described it as a place “where one can truly feel the history of humanity.” The exhibitions, which consistently reflect historical processes from ancient civilizations through the Islamic Renaissance to the era of New Uzbekistan, along with modern technology and interactive solutions, left a deep impression on the guests. The leaders of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that visiting the Center made it possible not merely to observe history, but to truly experience it.

Roman Romanchuk, Head of the Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Colonel of Police:

“Here, we came face to face with ancient civilization, an incomparably rich culture, and history. Immersing oneself in history, feeling it, and understanding it made a very strong impression on me. There are many exhibits, and the technical capabilities fully convey the spirit of that era. Here, I truly felt history. This initiative of your President deserves the highest praise.”

Anatoly Safonovich, Deputy Head of the Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Head of the Directorate for Ideological Work and Personnel Support:

“This Center left a very strong impression on me. Through the presentation style and interactive features, I gained a great deal of new information. The section dedicated to the personality of Amir Temur made the strongest impression on me. Seeing his era and activities presented interactively alongside relevant artifacts created an entirely different and powerful experience.”
