The Islamic Civilization Center made foreign sports leaders reflect

The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, where the centuries-long history of Islamic civilization, the legacy of great scholars, and the idea of “New Uzbekistan – the Foundation of a New Renaissance” are presented within a single space, left a strong impression on international guests. The heads of the UAE and Kuwait Karate Federations described the Center as a unique venue where spirituality, education, and modern thinking are harmoniously integrated.

The presidents of the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait Karate Federations closely familiarized themselves with the activities of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, its comprehensive expositions, and its unique historical sources. The stages of the formation of Islamic civilization, Central Asia’s contribution to world science and culture, and the legacy of great scholars presented through modern approaches and interactive technologies sparked great interest among the guests. In particular, it was noted that the clear presentation of historical processes based on precise evidence, visual solutions, and an accessible concept has transformed the Center into a distinctive scientific and educational platform.

Mansour Al Sultan, President of the Kuwait Karate Federation:

“First of all, it would not be an exaggeration to say that this is the most beautiful center I have ever seen. This is a true, fully developed center of civilization. Here, the past, present, and future of Islamic civilization are presented in a very thorough and harmonious way. I have visited more than 60 countries so far, but this is the first place where history, Islamic heritage, and modern technologies are integrated so perfectly. The historical processes and civilizational stages that took place in this land over centuries are presented in a very clear, understandable, and impactful manner. During my visit, I gained a great deal of new knowledge not only about Islamic history, but also about the peoples who lived on this land and the history of the entire region. I sincerely express my gratitude for every piece of knowledge conveyed. Truly, a very large and responsible effort has been accomplished. The Center is extremely beautiful, meaningful, and leaves a powerful impression. We thank your President for implementing such a grand project.”

Jaber Al Zaabi, President of the UAE Karate Federation:

“To be honest, I was truly amazed when I came here. I usually do not particularly like museums, but I stepped into this place for the first time together with my friends, and frankly, I received an unexpectedly strong impression. This place is truly remarkable. Without a doubt, I will definitely return here with my family in the future. I would like to thank your President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and your people for building such a mega project. Everything in the Center is very well thought out and beautifully executed. Each section is unique, with its own philosophy and meaning. Some parts take us deep into ancient history, others illuminate Islamic culture and civilization, while others cover different periods and themes. Each section offered me new feelings, new knowledge, and new experiences. Most importantly, I gained a great deal of new information about history here many aspects that I had not known or even imagined before were revealed. It was especially striking to see how the processes from the very beginnings of history up to the present day are presented as a single, coherent chain. Even the modern stage of national development, today’s reforms, and the processes of progress are logically integrated into the overall historical picture. This is not only a place to observe, but a place that makes one think, teaches, and inspires.”

The “New Uzbekistan – New Renaissance” section left a particularly strong impression on the guests with its presentation of current development, state policy, and a human-capital-oriented approach. In their view, the Islamic Civilization Center is also an important place for understanding the harmony between the strength and will formed through sports and spiritual values.

At the conclusion of the visit, the presidents of the UAE and Kuwait Karate Federations described the Islamic Civilization Center as one of Uzbekistan’s most important cultural and educational projects on the international stage. In their opinion, the Center not only showcases history, but also serves as a powerful platform that unites representatives of different peoples, sports, and cultures around shared values.
