The scientific and educational forum held at Termez State University under the theme “New Uzbekistan – the Foundation of a New Renaissance”, one of the main sections of the exhibition of the Center of Islamic Civilization being established at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, marked another important stage of this campaign.

During the event, in-depth discussions were held on Uzbekistan’s rich historical heritage, the scientific and spiritual legacy left by our great thinkers, as well as the key directions of the current reforms and the new period of awakening in the country.

As part of the forum, educational and scientific-practical events, lectures, and roundtable discussions were organized, providing participants with detailed information about the humanistic contributions of Islamic civilization to science and culture. The aim is to foster a spirit of respect for spiritual values among the younger generation, promote national identity, and strengthen ideological resilience in the face of global challenges.

The forum signifies a new stage in the spiritual revival and the rising importance of science and knowledge in New Uzbekistan. Each of its activities contributes to the practical promotion of the idea of the “New Renaissance”.

During the forum, extensive information was presented about scientific and cultural advancements, as well as the historical achievements of our country related to Islamic civilization. The aim of the event was to convey Uzbekistan’s current standing and its accomplishments in the fields of science, culture, and civilization to a wider audience, and to promote the country’s unique role in shaping the foundations of the New Renaissance.

It is worth noting that the “Enlightenment Caravan” is scheduled to hold scientific, educational, and cultural outreach events in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions, and the city of Tashkent during May and June of this year.
