The next destination of the “Caravan of Enlightenment” is the city of Almalyk
The “Caravan of Enlightenment” project plays an important role in spreading spiritual and educational outreach throughout our country, engaging directly with various segments of the population, and especially in inspiring national pride, historical memory, and modern thinking among the youth.
As part of this initiative, a series of events are also being held in the city of Almalyk, Tashkent region. In particular, a scholarly and educational forum titled “New Uzbekistan – the Foundation of a New Renaissance” took place in the assembly hall of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical College. The event was attended by college instructors, students, local activists, elders, and representatives of the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment.
During the forum, participants were presented with detailed information about the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, which is being established on the initiative of the country’s President. Speakers emphasized not only the architectural appeal of the Center but also its scholarly and educational potential, noting that it is expected to become one of the leading scientific hubs of the Islamic world on a global scale. In particular, key insights were shared regarding the conceptual foundations of the Center’s architectural design, the modern technologies being used during its construction, and the harmonious integration of historical styles with contemporary architectural approaches.
Forum participants were also introduced to the ongoing scholarly research related to the construction process, the restoration of ancient manuscripts, the study of religious and philosophical heritage, and efforts to pass this legacy on to the younger generation. Through presentations delivered by representatives of the Center, practical work being carried out in Uzbekistan to revive historical memory, promote enlightenment values, and strengthen international academic cooperation was highlighted.
At the conclusion of the forum, students and participants posed their questions to the experts, sharing their thoughts and reflections during open dialogue and discussion sessions. These exchanges undoubtedly contribute to fostering patriotism, respect for historical heritage, and a stronger sense of national identity in the hearts of young people.
Such scholarly and educational forums held within the framework of the “Caravan of Enlightenment” project play a vital role in laying the foundation for a new Renaissance era in our country, educating a well-rounded generation, and deeply exploring and popularizing the rich spiritual legacy left by our ancestors.
