New content will be presented in the section dedicated to the Bobokhonov dynasty

Associate professors from the "Nur-Mubarak" Egyptian University of Islamic Culture in Kazakhstan paid a visit to the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. During the meeting, First Deputy Director of the Center, Firdavs Khalimov, provided the guests with a detailed overview of the Center’s ongoing construction and its rich upcoming exhibition.

“Our cooperation with Kazakhstan in the fields of science and education is well established, and that is why relations between our two countries continue to develop steadily. We are very pleased with the construction of the grand mosque in Astana. We take pride in the reforms taking place in neighboring countries. I believe the establishment of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan will also be a source of pride for them. This is why they are ready to work side by side with us in the development of this Center,” said Firdavs Khalimov.

During the visit, the guests were given a comprehensive tour of the Center’s library and departments. They were also briefed on ongoing efforts to enrich the exhibition and the creation of scientific and innovative media projects.

“This large-scale facility being constructed in Uzbekistan truly impressed and delighted us. We are sincerely ready to contribute to the enrichment of the Center’s exhibition with the support of our team of scholars. This educational center will serve not only Uzbekistan but also neighboring countries as a source of pride and honor. We also possess artifacts that we could transfer to the Center. It is important to discuss the possibility of showcasing them within the thematic sections of the exhibition,” said Askar Akhimkhanov, Associate Professor at the "Nur-Mubarak" Egyptian University of Islamic Culture in Kazakhstan.

In addition, the guests expressed their willingness to provide new content for the special section on the Bobokhonov dynasty at the Center. They proposed organizing a dedicated expedition during which a research team would explore relevant sources.

During the meeting, the guests were shown a video presentation highlighting the ongoing religious and educational reforms in New Uzbekistan, as well as the construction of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.
