Work on enriching the content of the megaproject is actively continuing in Uzbekistan.
Today, Uzbekistan is confidently stepping into a new stage grounded in the unity of science and spirituality. As part of this journey, the Center of Islamic Civilization is being constructed at the initiative of the President — a vivid symbol of our nation's historical memory, scientific potential, and spiritual revival.
More than 2,000 experts — including scholars, historians, art critics, archivists, and theologians — have been involved in enriching the museum collection and content of the Center. Over 800 scientific and innovative projects have been developed.
Important scientific discussions are held daily at the headquarters of the Center. As part of these meetings, heads of working groups coordinate technical assignments for their respective projects. To enhance the efficiency of this process, systematic collaboration has been established among all participants.
As a result of the scientific projects, the exhibition will feature models, wall texts, and interactive solutions. Currently, specialists are actively working on the implementation of the first phase, which includes over 400 projects. More than 200 contracts have been signed with scholars and experts. Overall, the work is divided into three categories, each requiring a unique approach and creative exploration. Additionally, the Center’s legal team is developing legal templates for contracts related to these projects.
Special attention at the Center is given to the legacy of prominent figures in Uzbek literature and journalism — poets, writers, playwrights, and journalists whose work has shaped national thinking. Innovative modern media projects are being developed to honor their contributions. The exhibition titled "New Uzbekistan — Foundation of the Third Renaissance" features nearly 40 scientific and innovative media projects, which provide comprehensive coverage of the Jadid movement that emerged in Turkestan, the heritage of the Jadids, and their continued relevance in today’s world.
Another online meeting was held with the participation of the Center’s staff, leading experts, and representatives from “Outdoor Fastory,” one of Turkey’s most prestigious construction and design companies. During the meeting, participants discussed architectural solutions for the Center’s building, interior design, and technical planning issues. Both sides exchanged views on the technical details concerning the tasks assigned to each section of the complex.
A modern library is also planned to be established as part of the Center. This academic space, designed to accommodate over 200 readers simultaneously, will be equipped with cutting-edge technologies, creating a fundamentally new environment for those seeking knowledge.
In particular, today at the Special Headquarters, created to enrich the exhibition of the megaproject, active discussions and debates took place.
The Islamic Center of Civilization in Uzbekistan is a look into the future, a profound respect for history, and a fitting tribute to the roots of our people. Through this Center, national pride is awakened, thinking is elevated, and spirituality is raised to a new level.
In a word, the scholars who selflessly work at the Center are truly awakening history — by connecting the past and the present, they tirelessly work towards restoring the invaluable spiritual heritage for future generations.
