Scientific reference guides will be prepared for tourists in Uzbekistan
🔴 Imam al-Bukhari’s Al-Adab al-Mufrad in a modern edition
🔴 More than 2,000 pilgrimage sites will be re-documented with authentic historical information

The Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan has set itself a great task: to translate and publish manuscript and printed works inherited from our ancestors into Uzbek. Through this process, not only scholars and researchers but also the wider public will have the opportunity to benefit from this rich spiritual treasure.
At the latest Expanded Scientific Council meeting, held with the participation of the Center’s Director, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, members of the scientific council, scholars, and experts, a report was presented on the progress of publishing books and treatises. According to Shoazim Minovarov, head of a department at the Center, ten works have already been prepared for publication, while the concept for the next ten books was also presented.

Among these works, Imam al-Bukhari’s famous Al-Adab al-Mufrad (“The Jewels of Manners”) holds special significance. It gathers timeless values such as respect for parents, love for one’s homeland, and the pursuit of knowledge through hadiths.
In addition, the forthcoming publications include a collection of travelogues written by travelers who visited our land in the 17th–18th centuries. This volume will also be published and made available to researchers.
The Center is likewise preparing scientifically grounded reference guides about pilgrimage sites. This is because, in many cases, tourists are provided with information based on legends and hearsay. To prevent such cases, special brochures are planned for publication, and the council unanimously approved this proposal.
